Orientation

Welcome to the University of Adelaide College.

The first week of your College program will be your orientation. This is when we will finalise your enrolment and help you get set up as a College student. There will be some important information sessions during the week that you are required to attend, as well as some tasks that you will need to complete.

You will receive an email prior to your orientation containing more details and the orientation schedule. This will be sent to the email address you include on your College application. If you know your University of Adelaide username & password, you can update your email address here. If do not receive your orientation email one week before your program starts, please contact collegeservices@adelaide.edu.au

During your compulsory orientation you can expect to:

  • Join sessions to help you navigate the online learning systems;
  • Learn about studying and living in Adelaide or Melbourne.

Late arrivals from 2024

Email college@adelaide.edu.au if you cannot commence by the start date on your offer letter for reasons beyond your control.

In your email, provide:

  • a reason for the late start request
  • the date you will be able to begin classes.

Late starts cannot always be approved – for some programs, late arrivals are not allowed at all. Arrivals are not usually permitted after the first week of classes, but we can work with you to find an agreed new start date.
