Music Performance at the Elder Conservatorium

Foundation Studies music student, Venus Lai, is currently playing in the Elder Conservatorium Orchestra. Their first concert was held on Saturday night April 23 at Elder Hall and featured a Beethoven and Brahms programme. The Conservatorium provided free tickets for approximately twenty College students and staff to enjoy the concert in the historic Elder Hall, within the University of Adelaide. Beyond Blue – Charity Event

On the 16th of May, the College Social Club hosted an event for the charity, Beyond Blue. An experienced speaker from Beyond Blue, John Maguire, presented to students and staff about depression, anxiety and suicide prevention. He offered advice on where to turn to for support and advice and he shared some of his personal experiences and revelations around anxiety and depression.
